Every great innovation begins with a question born from frustration. For our founder, Zhao Yong, that question was: “There has to be a better way.”

It was asked after countless grueling trips up and down 12 flights of stairs, carrying heavy renovation materials for his new home. That personal struggle ignited a spark in a modest balcony-turned-workshop, leading to the first prototype of a powered stair climber. This was the genesis of XSTO.

Founded in 2014, the company was built on a simple yet powerful belief: technology should Ease Your Way to Anywhere.

We started by empowering movers and couriers, turning back-breaking labor into effortless operation with our XSTO Climbers. But as our technology matured, a profound realization dawned: the same core innovation that could move goods with superhuman strength could also be reimagined to move people with superhuman care. This led to the birth of XSTO Mobility.

The self-balancing algorithm that ensures a heavy load stays steady on stairs became the foundation for a wheelchair that climbs slopes and stairs with gentle confidence. The rubber developed in-house for all-terrain transportation is now powering the outdoor exploration journeys of seniors and individuals with mobility challenges. Our mission naturally expanded from lifting physical burdens to lifting human spirits.

Today, XSTO stands at the unique intersection of industrial logistics and human compassion. Our products empower both the backbone of the global economy and the independence of the individual.
